People think i’m crazy when i tell them that. I think it’s crazy to get ass blasted by ads. The only time i see an ad is when i’m at someone’s home and the tv is running. I’m almost mesmerized by it because of how bad and frequent they appear.
I have a friend who is super car focused. Where she lives, there is a bridge where people often cross the road, and they painted the road with some blue waves, to showcase that. I often drive whe. She’s with me, because she drives like a maniac. Anyway, people were crossing the road and i waited. She told me that cars have the right of way here and i could just go. I just gave her a look and then drove off when people were done, like 5 seconds later. The next time a few weeks later, she said the same thing and i told her: I don’t care how often you tell me that, i’m not gonna run over people to save 5 seconds. She told me that she would usually just honk or rev up her engine, or “pretend to run people over” it’s so weird to me what they get out of that behaviour

I had a friend wo wasn’t at all into video games. Like to her videogames were still the Smurfs on the nes, the last game she played. At some point i figured that she might like the sims. I fired up ky laptop and sowed her the sims. I haven’t played the sims since the very first sims came out, and even then i played for maybe 3 hours in total. I got intrigued myself, so i let her play and went up to my pc and played myself. We absolutely got lost and played for like 5 hours straight.
I went down and she proudly showed me her sims family, nice home and all the neighbours liked her. She threw a nice party and had her third baby. She wanted to see what i did. And i was like: uhm, i don’t think we play these games the same. My sim was a multi millionaire in a shitty house with a sweatshop in the dungeon.
I had a girlfriend once and i was absolutely mad at her for reasons i don’t remember. She said she would go home. I knew her for about 2 years and she herself said she never even heard me getting loud or angry with anyone. Anyway, after she left for 15 minutes she came back in and started arguing again. I asked her if she could please just leave. But she kept going. I really didn’t know what to do, because i didn’t just want to grab her and throw her out or anything, so i kept telling her to leave. I went to the toilet and hoped that she would be gone by the time i was done peeing. But she didn’t, she came into the bathroom to keep arguing. That’s where i totally flipped and grabbed her arm and threw her out and told her to go home.
I can’t even imagine doing that to a woman. Like just refusing to leave after i yelled at her for 30 minutes and all she said was: just please leave. Following her into the bathroom to keep yelling at her. I would go straight to jail, while she didn’t even really understood that something went wrong.
The only thing that can stop the fascist, criminal, fat, demented, pedophile is a pop star. Very cool, very american.

When i was in 4th grade in the 90’s i had a teacher that assumed something is was wrong with me. He watched me when we were skiing and i was always a bit overwhelmed when i had to use the ticket thing when there were a bunch of people waiting. He assumed i had some motorically problems.
I also knew back then that something was up but it wasn’t that. I went to the doctor with my mom and he just testet my hand eye coordination. I was so worried that i was disabled or had to switch schools or something.
Oh man do i wish i got properly diagnosed back then. People sometimes don’t believe me that i didn’t do any homework for like 8 years in school. I never learned for a test, i never did a book report, i just winged my whole life.

Forums were so good. They got murdered by facebook. I swear a lot of people don’t really know what the internet is. I was dating a girl once who was mind blown that I don’t have social media. Like every time it came up, he world was shook again. One day i was waiting for her to be ready and i was browsing the internet. She looked at me and wondered what i was doing. Like what could someone possibly look at if it’s not social media?

I think it got really bad the past few years. I think many people don’t even know that, but tinder used to be free. You got 5 free super swipes or something, unlimited swiping and so on. Now you can swipe a few times for free, and it is never ever the people who already liked you. It has a feature where you can limit your range and disable people from around the world. But half the women i see are from china or thailand. Women get flooded with likes and matches while as (an average?) guy, it’s like playing the lottery.
The problem that i see with that is that men generally don’t pick their “dream girl” they jest pick what they can get. Which is a weird dynamic for any sort of relationship. “Of all the likes, i picked you, because of your smile and we both like cycling.” “You were my only match in 3 month.”
