I’m super ADHD. Don’t take meds. High functioning job. Weed causes severe groggyness and widens my focus beam too wide. I need a sharp focus cone. It makes me feel stupid for 2 or 3 days. Raises anxiety. Not much it does help. Lessens motivation. I actually can’t think if any positives.

I have seen it a lot online being mentioned you needed portforwarding. So I just did not know it wasn’t needed. I will definitely start seeding all my downloads. I’m all for sharing and keeping the content public that is the whole point. Thanks!

My VPN doesn’t allow port forwarding so I cannot seed. If anyone has advice to safely seed then I’m all ears. I’ve paid a long time ahead for my provider so I cannot switch.

How long do HDDs last though? I’ve got some from 2015 to 2018 manufacture date. Seems dated and old.

Makes you feel tidy, visually less cluttered, it’s a great small action to do to warm up your mind in the morning that won’t aggravate you to stir your brain awake. It just feels good to have a nice made and good looking bed when looking at the room and coming home for the day. It’s one little aspect of feeling like your better organized. For me it works.

I think it was annas archive that has a page for what data they need mirrored the most based on your storage space available. After looking into it.

Beam.ng drive with 79 mods can use up to 20 to 28gb RAM. Even at 30 to 40 mods it’ll pull 10 to 17gb RAM. A few programs open and a browser can eat 10 to 16gb. 16gb is the new standard. 32 should be the baseline though. 64 plus is overkill right now.

I guess I’m shallow minded. I never thought if what use it could really have. The room it is capable of holding. Item types, quantities. Neat.

So that really makes sense longevity. Of all the thoughts I didn’t consider that lol. I do see even 2k stainless grills they do eventually rust, break down, fall apart at all the joints eventually. So the fact this behemoth is simple I can see it going the long haul, pair that with the insulation and yeah cooking/grilling all year round is a good advantage. Your foods looks dialed in! So while to me its wildly expensive for a grill. I do see the points you mention and how they factor into the cost average over time. Plus I have a better understanding of why one would need a 2.5k or 3k egg grill. Interesting…

Is there a cleaner method besides charcoal? I love smoked meat but don’t own a smoker. I have an autoimmune condition so I’m very ingredient sensitive which is what worries me about the charring and cleanliness of the heat source. The only smoked meats I usually consume are hickory smoked bacon in small amounts.

Very very heavy. I always considered then over priced and not worth it. The good plus is they hold temp like a champ! The thermal mass being what it is and all. Do you think these types of grills have advantages over say a stainless gas, or charcoal, or any other fuel type? I honestly fail to see why their so expensive. Any ideas now that you have owned them? What’s the consensus from your view.

Absolutely and this post has done just that. Which is exactly why I made the entire post to begin with.

I have a set of problems and wanted to try to solve them as resource friendly, open source, as possible. I will consider all tools for the job. Open, closed, what have you. At the end of the day the best tools for the job always wins.

Everything is by the book. It’s a family business. I have documentation of every single move that’s happened since my arrival, I’m in the financials and business customer and vendor relations. Thank you for the feedback. This seems to be the general consensus. What tech stacks would be good given the circumstances I’m now finding myself in. Personally I dislike Google and all that. But this is business. People need to survive and eat.
